November Tea Swap - Open Call

This spooky tea card was created by my October partner, Kim who lives in Ware, MA. I just love the Magenta Tea Party Stamp she used! Never seen one like that before.


Open call for our November Tea Swap.
If you are interested in joining, please let me know!!!

Requirements: You will mail 2 tea bags to your partner in a handmade card by November 10.
Optional Theme: Fall Colors, i.e. orange, green, red, yellow. Card can be blank OR you can write a note in it. Your choice!

If you are interested, contact me no later than October 25. Include the following information privately to me:

1) your name

2) mailing address
3) email address
4) likes/dislikes/allergies (re tea type)
5) Loose tea okay? Y/N
6) blog (if any)
7) If you are willing to swap outside of the US or US ONLY

I will send a group email with the partner list by 10/27. Teas must be mailed out by November 10.

More Christmas tags for Kyoko's tag swap. These are going to Myra from Kailua (hey, in my neighborhood!). Doesn't he look .... dreamy! Love those bedroom eyes (LOL!). This Santa came together rather quickly. It just took a LONG time getting my thoughts onto paper. Hope she likes them!!

Very Spidey Halloween Tea Card

An image, a stamped image . . .

For our next Scrapbook Club meeting, we are having a stamped image swap. Here's what's involved. We stamp and/or emboss our stamps on a plain piece of cardstock and swap these out. Above is an example above which I got from my friend Sherri.

I love it when the image is already embossed because that's just not my forte. Well, taking the image, I color and create a card. Wa-laaa,

. . . a Birthday Card!

This type of swap is a great idea for getting more for those stamps that are collecting dust (you know we have LOTS of them!) and "transforming" them into new ones.

Spooky Omiyage


These are samples for the next class at A Place in Time, Kailua, on October 14, 2010, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Cost: $20

Omiyage gifts for co-workers, friends and family. Just little things to let the recipient know that you are thinking of them.
